Scancraft Display signs distribution agreement with Futaba Europe
Futaba is recognized as a world leader in the manufacturing of Vacuum Fluorescent Displays (VFDs). VFDs are used in various fields of applications such as audio/video systems, microwave ovens and other electronic household appliances, but also for industrial applications in measurement devices or human-machine-interfaces.
Particularly, the automotive industry is prizing the advantages of this technology.

•Uniform luminance across the display (no hot spots)
•High multiplexing possible without any reduction in viewing angle
•Long lifetime and reliability, minimum 30,000 hours to 50% brightness

•Multi-colour capability using colour phosphors or filters. White colour is possible by using a pink filter.
